We are now in a good season, not too cold and not too hot.

At Unagi Okafuji, you can enjoy Hitsumabushi (eel stew) and Unaju (eel stew) using high quality eel,

All eel dishes we serve are bright blue in color and meaty to the tail,
Soft "blue eel" is used.
It is a very rare eel, with only about 20% of the eel harvest.

Our trained chefs carefully prepare such green eel and serve it to you.

We have two special rooms with sunken kotatsu (VIP private room seats) that can accommodate up to 6 persons.
The table top is made of a single piece of Kiso's famous wood, a simple yet beautiful piece of Japanese architecture to be discovered.
It is an elegant space.

It is a great place to enjoy food and drinks in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, and is recommended for special occasions.

Eel Okafuji is a 3-minute walk from Exit 6 of Fushimi Station,
