Hello. This is Eel Woo Okafuji, in charge of PR.
How is everyone doing on these glorious spring days?
This is the time of year when it is fun to take a walk outside or have a picnic during the day.
Now, we would like to introduce a sake that goes perfectly with our specialty, the fantastic blue eel!
~Sake and shochu are recommended for the fantastic blue eel.
Please enjoy the fantastic "blue eel" with your favorite sake.
Blue eel" caught in the sea of Okayama is a rare and precious eel, and there are very few restaurants in Japan that sell it.
Do you know why it is called "blue eel"? The eels usually available in the market have a black body, but the blue eel has a slightly bluish color. The taste is fluffy and meaty, with no muddy smell peculiar to eels, and you can enjoy the rich flavor of the eel.
We are particular about the size and quality of our eels, and not only do we use the 25-year-old Kadoya sauce, but we also handle the eels, char-grill them, and improve all the techniques to the highest level, so you can enjoy our exquisite hitsu-mabushi and unajyu (eel stew). The best accompaniment to such delicious green eel is sake. We also offer a variety of shochu (Japanese liquor) by the glass or bottle, such as "Kurokirishima," "Tomino Hozan," "Aka Usuma," and "Hitotsubun no Mugi," as well as a large selection of sake imported from all over Japan! We also offer a variety of eel dishes such as eel pillows and eel wrapped egg, which are perfect accompaniments to alcoholic beverages!
Please come to our restaurant for dinner in Nagoya. We also have a small private room that can accommodate from 2 to a maximum of 26 people, as well as a special room with a sunken kotatsu, which is recommended for drinking parties and banquets. Please do not hesitate to come to our restaurant when you want to eat eel dishes.
The entire staff looks forward to serving you!
