Risshun has passed, and my heart seems to be naturally buoyed by the thought that spring is finally near. I hope everyone is doing well.

This time, we would like to introduce our signature dish, "Hitsu-mabushi".

Hitsu-mabushi" is a dish in which you can eat as much eel as you like.

Hitsumabushi, a local dish of Nagoya, is excellent with the savory aroma of grilled eel skin and a sauce that has a 25-year history.
Our restaurant offers four menus for your enjoyment.

━━━━━How to enjoy Hitsumabushi: ━━━━━

Hitsumabushi is also a fascinating way to eat.

First, divide the hitsujimabushi in a hitsu into four parts by dividing it crosswise!
Rather than using chopsticks to divide the food, we recommend that you take the plunge and use a rice scoop here.
Let's split it up quickly.

The first bowl, divided into four portions, should be served as is with eel soaked in sauce and hot rice.
The crispy, grilled, savory, fluffy, meaty eel will spread in your mouth.
The taste is happiness itself. It is a combination of the royal road that makes you want to eat more and more rice.

After enjoying the simplicity of eel and rice, enjoy arranging the flavors by placing condiments on top.
For an adult taste, we recommend wasabi.
The refreshing aroma of wasabi and the spiciness that goes straight to the nose match the sweet and spicy eel.
The taste is so good that you will not be able to stop eating it.

For the third bowl, boldly pour the dashi broth over it and enjoy it chazuke style.
It is a luxurious moment to taste the fatty meat of the eel with the broth.

Even if your stomach gets a little bloated, you can eat it in one piece if you stir it in with the broth.

The last cup can be eaten as is, topped with yakumi (condiments), or with dashi (Japanese soup stock) or all of it!
Enjoy it in your own style.

 

Our restaurant is a Japanese-style space that combines solemnity and quality on the first floor of the Gionza Tower.
We have various types of seating, including private rooms for 6 persons, table seating, and sunken kotatsu seating, which can be used for a wide range of occasions, including family, business entertainment, anniversaries, and ceremonies.
For banquets, a private room that can seat up to 26 people is also available.
