Six craftsmen trained for several years at the famous eel restaurant "Unafuji" in Nagoya, and then split up to form our restaurant, "Unagi Oka Fuji".
We are particular about the selection of eels, the way they are handled, skewered, and char-grilled to perfection.
The eels used are bright blue in color and soft and fleshy all the way to the tail,
We stably purchase only really good eels, which are only about 20% of the eel harvest.
We also have a selection of alcoholic beverages that go well with our special eels.
From standard beer to sake and shochu recommended at that time of the year, depending on the timing, we will introduce you to the best sake and shochu available.
